My dear Great Uncle Jimmie Lee Rainge, a.k.a., Jay Bird, was a one of a kind in the realest sense. When I last saw him he picked me up off my feet and bear hugged me at the age o 93! He shared lots of great life stories and family histories but most importantly he loved unconditionally all who he encountered on this Earth. He would always close out every conversation with ‘Look to the hills from whence my help come!’. Uncle Jay I hope you finally found that help up there in Heaven and your reconnection to you your brothers, sister and parents that you talked of often, I know it was ‘sweet the the dew of Hermon’! “It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;” Psalm 133:2.

So Uncle Jimmie I leave you a message that you also used to quote to me when we ‘talked on the Level’: “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” Psalm 133:1
I love you to life Uncle Jimmie!

To my cousins Renay and all my cousins who are descendants of cousin Lillie Mae (Rainge) Kyles know that I love you all dearly and praying daily for you all.

    Much Love,
    Daniel Rainge III

When I first met Uncle Jimmy he was so loving. He brought us into the family after being separated for so many years. He called to check on us and would even travel to all the reunions that we had. He had a heart of gold and was truly a god fearing man.

Uncle Jimmy you are going home to be with your parents and other family. We will see you in the other side one day. Rest In Peace, we will truly miss you.
