October 21, 2021 at 8:46 PMMy deepest condolence to you Lavita, your family and your mother. I had the pleasure of getting to know your father during our time at Northwestern University as roommates and life long friends. Your father exemplified excellence, in everything he did even in small ways. Our family will always treasure your parents opening their home to us after our long bus rides home from school. I will never forget his encouragement and wisdom when I decided to go into medicine and prayers for our family when my mother transitioned. You embody the best of your father and I pray you will find comfort in that. Our family will continue to lift you in prayer as you celebrate the life of beloved father.

October 22, 2021 at 3:01 PMMay the grace and peace of God comfort you and your beautiful family. I know that your dad meant the world to you and the memories you shared will last a lifetime. I know he was so proud of the great woman of God you have become. I always enjoyed my many conversations with your dad. I will miss his warm smile and extremely positive outlook on life. It’s such a blessing knowing that he fought the good fight of faith. He finished his course. Now the crown of righteousness will be given to him. Well done good and faithful servant. God Bless!
