I want my memory to be a happy one.
I want to leave an afterglow,
I want my memory to be a happy one.
I want to leave an afterglow of
smiles when life is done.
I’d like to leave an echo whispering
softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times
and bright and sunny days.
I’d like the tears of those who grieve,
to dry before the sun;
Of happy memories that
I leave when life is done. of
smiles when life is done.
I’d like to leave an echo whispering
softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times
and bright and sunny days.
I’d like the tears of those who grieve,
to dry before the sun;
Of happy memories that
I leave when life is done.

July 27, 2025 at 11:40 PMDr. George Wm. Chisholm served so many roles in my life. He was not only my former employer or my personal Physician. He was not just the Doctor who safely and skillfully delivered my two children or my first grandchild. He was a Father figure, mentor, protector, advisor, confidant, comedian, dining partner, and most of all, one of my closest friends. There will not be another human being like him in this lifetime. I pray he is now resting in the arms of the Savior and that he was welcomed by his Father, Mother, and Brother, whom he lived and missed so much.
Rest in eternal glory, Dr. Chisholm. Thank you for all that you have been to me and all that you have done for me. I will miss our long conversations and time spent hanging out together, eating and laughing at your quick-wittedness. I love you forever!
Submitted with a broken heart, by your former Office Manager, patient and friend, “Sandy”.

July 30, 2025 at 3:25 PMMy love and prayer go out to Georges Family Members and his closest friends. I have known George for over 15 years. I mostly knew him through helping him with his real estate, but over the years it was enjoyable to learn about his life journey and becoming a doctor. In business, he was always honest, kind and direct. I really respected that! God Bless you George and big hugs to you in heaven!

August 3, 2025 at 12:09 AMGeorge, I remember our times in medical school, ups and downs. I remember our conversations over the years, our last, August 2024. You always had a lot to say about many topics, You talked, I listened. Listen for my voice when I get where you are today. Your MUSC schoolmate, Delores Gibbs

August 7, 2025 at 12:50 AMMy Friend “Chis”: It is rare to have long-lasting friendships. And, it is even more rare to have ones that last 60 years.. The fact that you made your transition on my birthday will leave an everlasting impact on me. .While you are now absent from your family and friends here on earth, we believe that you are now present with he Lord.. “Rest in peace, and go with God.”
