I Diana Flowers would like to send my condolences to the Graham family. It is with my deepest sympathy and love that i share with you all. Horace was one of my oldest nephews and we grew up in the same house together. I will cherish his memory in my heart forever. I would have love to be there with you all for his celebration of life, but due to health concerns I have been advised not to travel that far. He was a kind, protective and supportive nephew. He always wanted to become a police officer. Since he was one the oldest grandsons, mama told him that he had to watch out for all the other children and grandchildren. I appreciated how he would always call to check on me and the rest of the family. May he rest in peace! Love forever, Auntie Diana Flowers and Family

I had the pleasure of working with Horace in South District 1990. He was beloved by the community, his family, and his fellow officers at South District. He had a great sense of humor and was always the professional. They don’t make them like Horace anymore.. A lot of his colleagues will miss him sorely.

When I learned of Horace’s passing, I was truly taken by surprise. Karen Austin and I had the privilege of working with him in ECB, and he and I were partners in the Public Integrity Squad. Horace was a true gentleman and a genuine friend. He was an outstanding investigator—always ready to lend a hand and committed to working as part of the team.

Every holiday season, without fail, Horace would reach out to wish me and my family well. He did the same for all his friends; that was simply the kind of person he was.
Rest in peace, my friend. You will be deeply missed.
