Janae Shai Marshall, the beautiful name given to her by her father, entered this world on November 7, 1992, and departed this life on May 24, 2026. She was a bright morning star, her mother's shining light, and a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
Janae possessed a radiant smile that could light up any room she entered. Rarely was she seen without that beautiful smile, a reflection of the joy, warmth, and kindness that she carried within her heart. She embraced life with enthusiasm and curiosity, always seeking the next adventure and never allowing life's possibilities to pass her by. Janae was truly the life of the party, bringing laughter, energy, and light wherever she went.
From an early age, Janae explored many interests and talents. She danced ballet, played lacrosse, participated in gymnastics, and even learned to play the saxophone. Her adventurous spirit led her to try new experiences and pursue her passions fearlessly. Among her greatest gifts was her love for writing. Janae wrote poetry that was featured in her school's newsletter and even began writing a book, a testament to her creativity, intelligence, and vivid imagination.
Education was important to Janae, and she pursued her studies with determination and purpose. She earned her Associate's Degree in Psychology from Community College before continuing her education at Drexel University. Later, she attended Florida International University, where she was only one class away from earning her Bachelor's Degree.
After relocating to Florida, Janae's natural beauty and vibrant personality opened doors in the modeling industry. She modeled hair for major beauty brands and was featured in magazines, billboards, advertisements, and beauty supply stores. Even today, her image can still be found on products and displays, leaving a lasting reminder of her grace and beauty.
While Janae's accomplishments were many, her greatest legacy is the love she shared with family and friends. She leaves behind a lifetime of treasured memories and countless moments that will forever be cherished.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving mother, Mayra Fonseca; her devoted father, William Marshall; and her beloved siblings: Demarr D. Brown, William Taijee Marshall, Jordan M. Brown, Charles Tyler Marshall, James Marshall, Tarajah Marshall, Ishmil Q. Barnett, Justice Marshall, Titus Marshall, Cyrus Marshall, Rodney Vincent, Lauren Marshall, Morgan Stephens, Tyson Marshall, Serena Marshall, and Ryleigh Marshall. She also leaves behind her cherished nieces and nephew, Sienna, Calais, and Malayla; herbeloved fur baby, Aura, who brought her great joy and companionship; and a host of extended family members, friends, and loved ones whose lives were forever touched by her presence.
Though Janae's earthly journey ended far too soon, her spirit, laughter, beautiful smile, and unwavering love will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her
