SECME Board and Staff, Dr. Shaik Jeelani, Chair says

We are heartbroken to learn of Joe’s passing. He served as chair of the Board of Directors at the Southeastern Consortium for Minorities in Engineering (SECME) for many years, and led us through challenging times. He has done so much for so many, with integrity and excellence! We pray God’s comfort and peace for Evelyn and the family, and we are grateful to have benefited by Joe’s generosity!

    Dear Evelyn and Cleveland Family:
My heart and prayers are with you in the loss of Joe. He was a great man, and I learned a great deal about leadership and management from him. His legacy is broad and deep, having touched the lives of children, teachers, colleagues and especially his family. He was so proud of you all! May God comfort you in this difficult time. With love, Michele Williams
