Carolyn Y. Echols was born on June 25, 1954 in Palm Beach county Florida to the late George Everett and the late Bernice Everett. She was the only child to this union. On June 26, 2023, Carolyn transitioned to her eternal rest at The Mike Conley Hospice House in Clermont, Florida. Carolyn gave her life to the Lord at an early age of 10 at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend J. F. Hargrett. She moved to Pacific, California and married Robert Jordan, II in 1974 and had a son, Robert Jordan, III. She worked as a Dispatch Manager at Stanford University. She moved back to Orlando, Florida where she finished her Associates of Arts degree at Valencia Community College. Then she moved to Tampa, Florida where she met and married Minister Terry Echols on June 28, 1998 where they resided. She later founded His Prayer Ministry, which was a teaching ministry. She loved to encourage and evangelis to the people of God. She worked at Haltech Corporation for almost 8 years before taking ill. The couple moved back to Orlando, Florida, where they both attended Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church. Carolyn loved singing in the Cathedral Choir at Mt. Pleasant. Sister Echols was preceded in death by her late parents George and Bernice Everett. Sister Carolyn leaves to cherish her memories to her loving and devoted husband, Minister Terry Echols; Sons - Robert Jordan, III and Ramone Echols and a host of family and friends.
