Charlene Michelle Streeter Obituary
Charlene Michelle Streeter was born to the late Mr. Charley Mac Streeter and Rosetta Streeter on February 27, 1966. She was the 9th child of this union.
Charlene was very bright and intelligent. In spite of her medical disabilities, she was known to have a “smart mouth.” She attended Magnolia School for Special Needs after graduating from Gateway School in 1991.
She was employed at the Quest Day Center for 20 plus years, and enjoyed working with her co-workers. Also, she enjoyed going out with Ms. Sonya and friends to the Neon Club.
Charlene loved the Lord, and really enjoyed listening to gospel music whereby she would praise Him for hours at a time.
On January 10, 2021, God came and picked His special flower for His garden. As it was in her life, she was surrounded by her loving family.
Charlene was preceded in death by: her father – Mr. Charley Mac Streeter, 4 brothers – Jessie Streeter, Jeffery Streeter, Sammy Thomas, and Nathaniel Thomas.
She is survived by: her mother – Rosetta Streeter; 5 sisters – Brenda Streeter, Roxie Streeter, Trenise (Eddie) Stokes, Henrietta (Eric) Lane, and Debra Robinson; 2 brothers – Jerome and Kenneth Streeter; nieces – Sybria (Justin), Tamara, Regus, Kyshana, Kyara, Shontara (Brian), Tasha; nephews – Antwaun, Jerry, Joshua, Bernard, Montrellas, Johnathan (Jasmine), Corey, Lit’l Jerome, Anthony, Tyler, Ashton; special cousin – Gwen Tarver; and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.
